Healthy and Strong Labradors

We guarantee all of our puppies against life altering genetic diseases. This is a decision we are confident about due to each of our breeding dogs having important tests done. Choosing a dog from great bloodlines is only the first step.

No matter how excellent a pedigree is, perfection cannot be assumed. Therefor, irrespective of healthy bloodlines, testing for breed specific ailments is critical. The Labrador Retriever has a history of both poor hips and elbows. Because of this, we test each dog using OFA and PennHip by having a licensed Veterinarian x-ray the hips while they are under anesthesia. They are then evaluated and judged by the reputable company and a score certificate is issued. We will never breed a dog with hip or elbow dysplasia.

All of our breeding dogs are tested via DNA for:

  • Centronuclear Myopathy
  • Degenerative Myopathy
